Our Bodies

explores how the body can be reimagined through everyday objects, food, clothing, medicine, adornment, and industrial materials.

The body is rarely shown directly. A pomegranate becomes a heart, grapes resemble skin and wounds, flowers grow from metal fittings, clothing is submerged in water, and food, jewelry, and tools are placed into unfamiliar relationships. Through subtle displacement, ordinary objects begin to lose their original functions and take on bodily qualities.

Exhibited at International Contemporary Photography Exhibition 2026, DEADBOOKS GALLERY, Osaka, Japan.

OUR BODIES

The project observes the ways the body is fed, covered, cleaned, decorated, healed, damaged, and repaired, while blurring the boundaries between the organic and the artificial, the body and the commodity, the living and the object.
